First Aid Confidence provides pain free first aid training

Most businesses are aware that they must comply with the health and safety regulations by providing first aid equipment and personnel however they may be concerned about several issues such as providing an appropriate level of first aid provision, ease of booking and training delivery and value for money.

At First Aid Confidence we aim to make it as easy as possible for businesses to provide adequate first aid provision and we have explained how First Aid Confidence provides pain free first aid training in the points below.

First Aid regulations

Information regarding first aid regulations can be found in the blog section of our website. There is also more information available in the first aid section of the HSE website. We are more than happy to receive queries by phone or email from any business or individual whether it is a question about our own training courses or about the regulations governing first aid. We can also point you in the right direction such as the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance.

Booking first aid training

We will discuss your first aid training requirements with you and we can provide the course you require on the dates that are convenient for your business. Once the booking is confirmed we will email the full details and the invoice to you. We will also send a course reminder by email a few days before the course is due to commence.

Flexible training options

First Aid Confidence offers in-house courses where we provide the instructor and all the necessary documents and equipment. We also offer open courses where a business can book one or more places, therefore training can be staggered across the business, which minimises disruption to the working day.

Training delivered by appropriately qualified and competent instructors

The HSE advises that a business should carry out due diligence to ensure that a first aid training provider is adhering to the criteria set out by the HSE. All instructors at First Aid Confidence have a first aid at work qualification or are exempt as they are registered as a health care professional. All instructors have a relevant teaching qualification.

Standards of practice and syllabus content

First Aid Confidence are registered with Qualifications Network UK, an awarding body who are regulated by Ofqual and we therefore follow the learning specifications and assessment procedures set out for each course. We are also very keen to stay up to date with the latest guidance such as the Resuscitation Council UK guidelines and ensure that we are teaching according to these guidelines during our courses.

Certification and Quality assurance

First Aid Confidence provides regulated courses and the certificates are issued by Qualifications Network UK. First Aid Confidence is monitored by Qualifications Network UK and is subject to their quality assurance systems.

Training costs

Our prices are competitive and the price per person for our in-house courses can be as little as £37.50 per person. All of our in-house course prices can be seen on our course details pages and the cost of our upcoming open courses can be seen on our course dates page. We offer a two-tier price system, which means that an in-house course can be booked for a smaller group of up to 6 people for a reduced price.
